On Friday, a powerful Hollywood manager was accused of attempted rape.

Benny Medina, 59, who currently represents Jennifer Lopez and formerly repped Mariah Carey, Will Smith, Tyra Banks and Usher, is the latest showbiz figure to be accused of sexual misconduct.

On Friday, The Advocate published an interview with Sordid Lives star Jason Dottley, who says Medina attempted to rape him at his Los Angeles mansion in 2008.

A statement from Medina lawyers Howard Weitzman and Shawn Holley to UT said Medina “categorically denies the allegation of attempted rape.”

Dottley and a friend, T. Ashanti Mozelle, met Medina at a Los Angeles gay bar in December 2008, he says, and Medina invited the two back to his house. Dottley, who was then married and wore a wedding ring, says he thought Medina was interested in his friend, who went for a swim in the manager’s pool.

It was then that Medina offered the actor a tour of his house, Mottley says, leading him to a bedroom door.

“There was no ‘Do you want to see my bedroom?’ ” Dottley told The Advocate. “We literally got to the door and he grabbed me by the chest of my shirt and threw me onto his bed. Now I’m 6 foot tall and was 155 pounds, and this is a stocky strong man.”

After throwing him on the bed, Medina “stuck his tongue down my mouth,” Dottley alleges. “Stop. I’m married. What are you doing?” he recalls asking while pointing to his wedding ring.

As he resisted, Dottley says Medina became more aggressive, placing his forearm over Dottley’s neck, pinning him to the mattress, forcefully placing his thighs over Dottley’s legs to keep them from squirming and pulling at his pants.

Dottley says he started to cry and beg Medina to stop.

“His forearm was bearing down on my neck so hard that I don’t know how much longer I would have remained conscious,” says Dottley.

Eventually, his friend burst in the door and screamed at Medina, says Dottley, who alleges Medina then threw them both out of his house.

Even today, Dottley told the magazine he has told very few people, including his ex-husband, about the incident out of fear of retaliation.

The actor’s manager, Renee Bailey, confirmed to The Advocate Dottley told her of the alleged assault when she signed him in April 2016.
