“What is USA TODAY?” That should have been your answer to a clue on Tuesday’s episode of everyone’s favorite syndicated quiz show, Jeopardy!
Our shining moment came in “The Newspaper Game” category, and our very own Life section made a cameo appearance in the clue.
“This national paper color codes its sections; the Life section is in purple,” the clue read.
“Genius” contestant Austin Rogers got the answer correct, thankfully.
Any experienced Jeopardy! genius would also know that USA TODAY, founded in 1982, has evolved to become more than just a newspaper. We have apps, robust social media accounts and a website, too.
